Hello. I am considering putting a transom door in my 35 Alura. The transom is made of 3/4 ply blocks, sandwiched between about 3/16 of fiberlass on each side. It has an inner wall, (interior shell), of 1/4 glass. I looked at a friends Egg, and they glassed in a 4x4 under the floor from bulkhead to bulkhead, then cut the door in. Is anybody familiar with doing this? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
