    Interesting, one suspects that shallow water boating could get "exciting" with the projections from the bottom grounding, or hitting a solid floating object.

    I think Alexander Sahlin is a member here-maybe he'll comment? Just checked and apparently he is not. But I'm relatively sure I saw a post by him recently.
