Good luck trying to get those NFA permits and when you arrive on the other side of the pond you will anyway be promptly arrested....

You might be able to plan on a 5 knot trans-Atlantic average in one of these. It's got enough size to carry some fuel. Turn on an engine if sailing slower than 4 knots. So figure a 2 million dollar yacht gets you about a 20 day passage.

Monohulls make better motor sailors if the idea is to motor when there is insufficient wind. They can carry more fuel and have better low-speed fuel economy, so the crossover speed when you can turn on the motor is a bit higher. Sailing faster than about 7 knots is hard work and uncomfortable onboard and hard on gear. Most people would route to avoid such conditions if they are operating on their own dime.

150 liters gives 3 days of powered cruise. Nice! At 15 knots or so? Or maybe just 10?

Please show me a 40ft cat that goes 10 knots with 2 liters per hour. Seems pretty appealing.

Every single guesstimate is optimistic by a huge factor.
