torpedo propulsion

    why most of torpedo has 2 propellers as below and advantages

    Is to counteract the torque of the propellers. That setup keeps the torpedo from twisting around. Also, it increases the efficiency of the propellers.

    Maybe somebody found some 'Torpex' at the back of a shed :eek: ;) :D

    I always though it was ingenious how they utilise a diesel engine with a compressed air tank to allow the motor to 'breathe'
