i have two GPS units with the puck antennas when the unit is shut off are the antennas drawing battery power if the units are wired hot not as an accessory but always stay on as long as unit is turned on. if the antennas are drawing power would it be enough to cause the battery to go dead in 5-7 days.

No. The antenna is powered by the head unit.

Thanks Craig I thought so but someone was trying to tell me they were constantly drawing down on my cranking battery.
