One of the greatest guitar players of this time AND, without the attitude of "look, I'm a star" !!!!
He often plays with "amateurs" and give those guys the feeling they're on the same level as Tommy, top notch Aussie !!!

In the comments on youtube entries sometimes you see people that think he is a huge egomaniac, but I've only seen a guy who loves what he's doing and has a lot of fun while he's doing it.

Just about anyone connected to him are also great players, such as people he plays with or are connected with the TrueFire organization https://truefire.com/ where he is an educator.

His connection with Chet Atkins was also very productive.

Very good, he's got his own style.
Somewhere there's an hour long documentary on putting the whole "Playing For Change | Song Around the World" series of tunes together that shows very poor people with nothing but out of tune/untunable instruments that do amazing things with what they have. There were a few 'percussive' guitarists like Ben Lapps. I guess they just come up with styles completely self taught.

Funnily enough I stumbled on this just a couple of days back and thought it was ace - reminded me of Andy McKee with the percussive thing:

And another recent, and deeply funky youtube find, Nik West: (play though something that has good bass response, please! :D)

I was listening to a comparison of Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven and the tune it's being sued for allegedly copying, Tauras by Spirit.

In the comments, someone said Stairway To Heaven was very similar to one of Turlough O'Carolan's tunes, a blind music writer and harp player from the early 1700s. So I searched his name on youtube and the first tune that came up was this one...

Here's another by the same person, Helen Marshall

Ridiculous, meritless case. The Doors performed Stairway to Heaven before it was even written.

I became rather psychedelic of the moving photo editing in that video . .

Yes, I can't see where there is much merit in the case, but I think you might be mistaken about this video. Down in the comments...

This is "The Australian Doors" and this performance was on a local T.V show called "The Money or the Gun" in the mid 90's. Every week a different musical act would perform their own version of this song. Worth searching for...
