    Can anyone enlighten me on some specifics about the martin 243.
    I hear it's a fast boat. How does it compair to other boats. I cant seem to find any info on the net so if anyone knows the sail aria i'm interested to know.

    Here is an ad for one, including the sail area. I have raced against them and they are quick little boats. In planing conditions they are faster than almost any keelboat of any size.

    Upwind they are limited by their waterline length, just like any other keelboat.
