Has anyone had any experience with useing the "Tillermate"?
It's basically a clamp on the tiller which grips a rope.

Nothing technical, you could probably make something for a lot less expense, but I'm lazy. so feedback please from anyone that has used one.

If you are lazy, take friday arvo off.
Save the money of the tiller mate, and put three or four round turns around the tiller between two points on either side of the cockpit.
    A clove hitch in port.
Or a clove hitch around the tiller at sea tied to one point in the cockpit for holding a course.
