Hi Can someone give advise on how to the tide height is measure according to BV rules.
Is it the difference between low tide and high tide?
Or the difference between the Mean Sea Level and the High tide?

It would help if you say which Rules are you referring to (BV has several sets of rules) and where are those measurements mentioned...

Sorry, I was talking about the tide height referenced in NR612, Rules for the Classification of Harbour Equipment.
Which will be mainly used for the calculation of External Design Pressure. Based on this I am inclined to think that this is the difference between the Mean Sea Level and the high tide since that is the height of the water that a floating door would experience on a regular basis.
