    I don't think it is a conspiracy. It is the same age old opportunism. Every age has its catch phrase: Malthus, Chauvin, Phrenology, Arianism, Bleeding people to clear the humors, etc. All these where the accepted scientific dogma of the time. I know, scientific dogma is an oxymorom. However, that is what the public at large gets sold.

    It is easier to control the people by hoodwinking them than it is by use of threats and coercion. Hoodwinking makes the sheep move along quietly to the slaughter.

    Picking a side is picking a side. It is only a conspiracy when people collude to manipulate data in order to deceive people into picking the WRONG side. See #4 above. Fraud.

    I would also respectfully advise (your honor ) to tread carefully as he may find himself on the wrong side of the law , and therefore almost certainly in peril , for contempt himself.
