Unfortunately, I think you're right. Sooner or later, someone's going to set one or more bombs off......

My dad once had to replace the driveshaft and U-joints on his pickup near the area where the testing had been conducted, and spent several hours scooting around on his back in the sand. The doctors picked one cancer after another off his back in his later years, and he always thought there was a connection.

I have no doubt that it may have played a role, depending on what type of lesions he had, and where on his back they showed up. Sun related ca. usually show on upper back most often.

I think most of the posts are pseudoscience and political rethoric. Global warming, true or not, human caused or not, has nothing to do with Nazism, evolution, creationism or any other social or political belief. That is a classic show of people without proof or reason grasping at straws; on both sides.

There should be no legislation without verification.

You are stating the obvious. So called Global Warming means the average temperature is rising due to human activity. A false claim in my opinion.

However the originators of this movements know it to be false and are using and misleading a large size of the population with manipulation of data by the scientist on their leash.

The connection with politics is there, yet clearly not in the claim. If the claim is false or true, such is irrelevant. Politicians use this for leverage to obtain followers in their aim to establish control. This time it is Global warming. Previously they used other topics that exite the masses to unite behind them.

Just like religion, patriotism, social justice/injustice, is used to lead the masses to war, revolts, ethnic confrontations or any other form of control, the global warming hoax is already another instrument for politician to redistribute power and wealth without having to call elections. There has never been a better instrument to establish a virtual global government by default with its own funding then through this massive fraud.

And you say it has nothing to do with nazism of fascism or religion? No it does not directly, those were different approaches for a similar result. It is the objective they have in common, the method is different.

I don't remember ever seeing my dad with his shirt off outside (or inside, come to think of it), although he may have done so before I was born. But he was a carpenter who worked in the desert, and had a tan an inch deep on his arms and face. They only took one lesion off one of his arms as far as I know, and none off his face. The rest of the lesions came off his neck and back, and were pretty spread out.

He also had a mole that started wrapping tentacles across his back, around his chest cage and up into his neck; he noticed it when the growth in his neck started interfering with his breathing. It looked like the doctors had been trying to carve a road map of Indiana into his skin, by the time they finished tracing and removing all of it they could find. That was when he was in his mid-fifties. Surprisingly enough, he lived another thirty years and never had a problem with it coming back.

That would be a sane approach. :)

    For a good read:

    State of Fear
    Michael Crichton
    ISBN-13: 978-0-06-101573-1
    ISBN-10: 0-06-101573-3

If you don't like the novel part, the 60 pages of authors comments and citations are worth looking at.

    Why Politicized Science is Dangerous
    (Excerpted from State of Fear)

The book was written in 2004 ... 5 years later I have not found answers to the questioned raised.

    Yes the climate is changing.
    Yes man has an effect.

Beyond that it is mostly guesswork ... informed guesses to be sure ... but guesses none the less.

When scientists that "agree" make predictions that vary 400% or more, that proves there is considerable error in the methods.

Cause for concern and investigation? Certainly.
Solid support for worldwide legislation? Not by a long shot.

You know....if politicians want to control their people, there are a whole lot of time-tested methods that don't include creating a worldwide conspiracy to invent global warming. That seems to be a remarkably inefficient and unreliable way to go about it. Somehow it's hard for me to believe that politicians all over the world are coordinating their efforts in such a silly manner.

    Marco , no !

Look at the title of the thread.
This thread is about weather the claim IS FALSE OR TRUE.

I think you are selling most of us a little short here.

Most people here are aware of the corrupt , dirty , manipulative ,
and often fraudulent methods that these political maggots deploy for
    more control and influence.

New world order this or that ....sure , there are some who love nothing better.
Climate change would be a great catalyst for them to start on this quest.
    There are others.

One could just as easily claim that the naysayers have the same dastardly agenda of a new world order , and that these key players involved , are the the very ones that have the most to lose in all this :
Big oil , Big Coal,Big Industry, Big Govt. in bed with them....It`s not difficult to dream up a conspiracy theory on either side of the fence.

The thread started as a claim that global warming is a hoax.
