It may seem so on the surface. Yet ask those dissenting scientist who have been barred from publishing their findings, funds stopped, careears ruined.
Listen to the political debtes, this is only the beginning. Don't forget that Hitler was voted by normal clear headed citizens like you and me who saw him as the alternative to comunism.

 

OK, name me some scientists who have had their careers "ruined." And explain to me how global warming theory will lead to WWIII, with the climatologists filling the role of Nazi stormtroopers. What are they gonna do? Shoot us with their Blackberries?

Hoaxes are usually surrounded by loud rethoric, name calling and personal attacks. They are the common techniques to divert the attetion of people from the real issues. I claim that there is no good science proving the global warming claims of the green party et al. Can anyone prove me wrong?

The consensus , by and large is against you.

That does not mean that you are wrong , either.

Why must you be called a " cabbage " head , in order to take a careful , cautious approach , since we do not seem to know , for certain ,either way.

The most insults , by far , come from the " skeptics" , the ones from your camp gonzo .......read through the posts.

Would it not be " smarter " to tread carefully ?

 

You pretty much by definition are refusing to accept any science that supports the idea as good science. So I don't like anyone's chances of proving anything to you; anything they bring up will simply be labeled bad science.

Exactly my thought. I suspect far fewer have died as aresult of global warming than have died from exposure to the cold.

 

The consensus said no flood.
The consensus said man will never fly, go to the moon, cure leprosy...etc.
Someday the consensus will say AGW was a big lie foisted upon us by swindlers who had financial gain from lying to us.

 

Since God didn't mention his plans to anyone but Noah, there was nothing to build a consensus about.

I doubt there was ever enough serious debate on whether we would or wouldn't fly, or go to the moon, to build any sort of scientific consensus on those subjects either.

Dismissing climate change as just a scientific swindle for financial gain is kind of a sweeping claim. And I'm sure a lot of scientists are wondering why they haven't been paid yet, if it is.

It kind of reminds me of a Beverly Hills girlfriend I once had who told me, "if there's really a Zionist conspiracy and Jews are secretly running the world, I need to talk to someone and find out why I haven't been getting my piece of the action."
