26' giant squid caught on video

Hey, lets drop some more of those illuminated glass spheres with big squid jags on them, down deep, and create a whole new fishing industry

 

I believe giant deep fried squid rings the size of car tires are inedible and that this is the reason no attention had been paid to harvesting them .

That makes sense - some smaller ones are pretty tough.

Wait till a marine version of Maccas or Colonel Sanders gets looking at it - wind powered macerators will soon be producing the giant version of those vile "squid rings" that all the pubs are serving now.

 

They are probably designing giant squid "grommet" cutters even as we post. They will be serving calamari all rings the same size and we will wonder why.

 

Recall reading years ago that they have ammonia (or something else) in their cells to help with the depths (in some way or another) they go to- and are inedible.

Lucky for them,else the Chinese would have them near extinct by now.
