    :D Thanks, Tom.

So far, the glassed hulls aren't that heavy. Each seems to weigh about as much or slightly more than a fiberglassed canoe. After they are decked they will weigh a little more and I will weigh them then. I will have to buy a bathroom scale.

Here is the boat laid out for fitting akas, which will also be wrapped in fiberglass after rounding and drilling.

Sorry to backtrack, but the shoes thing is clogging my brain. How about BROGUE WAVE for a boat name?

Um, yeah, my bad. Growing up in the hills, it just meant a rather primative boot. But the modern usage is a shoe with lots of little holes in the toecap.

Just realized what I did. Confused brogues with brogans. Brogans didn't have any left/right to them, which may explain the odd expression "if the shoe fits- wear it." logic would dictate "If the shoes fit- wear them." Otherwise, you need to find another shoe.

Being a dirty old man, I'd name her "TWINS" (two identical hulls) always wanted to take a voyage with such --
Yes Hoyt --I know, I'm bad --I'm going to hell ---:)

Now i'm going down into the fires for sure-- I'm leading others astray-- poka dots nice touch--I see you still have that 60 music influence -- I believe it actually made it to #1 -- will confirm with Wolfman (of WINS 1010 AM fame) when i drop by the castle of the great horned beast.
I'm actually back on my own build today(after 6 months absence) confirming a few hull lines measurments. Your postings reflect dispite the weather you're having fun with the build--Good for you as that too is an important part of the voyage---Cheers Geo.

    Hello Hoyte,

Oh I see, blimey I thought you were building a BOAT, but with those two side by side coffins, why not name the one Coffin One and on the other side Coffin Two.

When you go down just make sure you're in it and instead of trying to get you out they can just drop some dirt on you.
Right there would be as good as anywhere else.

Dang man, all these years about arguing and educating size and you schrink back into the inches. That 'thing' should have been at the absolute least six yards long and four yards wide

    I'm shocked !

But then it, the Fishier Boxy Catamaran wouldn't fit into my truck. :(

Won't it fit behind the truck ?... just till you get to the water ?

Around here most of the boats are 5m500 or less... because they fit in the garage.
When I get a boat I get it to fit on the water, not in the garage !

Feels to me it kinda misses it's purpose eh !
