    What do you expect from the new year 2016 ?

    I hope you all had an easy going sliding from 2015 into the new year 2016.

    Either you will enjoy 2016 on board of your own boat, you can have some relaxing and enjoyable moments on a cruising yacht with your friends or compete on a racing mashine with a tough crew I wish you a new year which let your sailing dreams and adventures come true.

    P.S.: On my own I will keep searching for my Trimaran as a living on board boat. :) What are you targeting at as multihull sailor (or Trimaran Enthusiast) for 2016 ?

    Shall become 2016 the year of foiling Trimarans ?

    Tks DoughL. Same to you... always appreciated in 2015 your profoundly knowledge about foiling... I have the hope to see in 2016 some more Trimarans fly away ;-)

    I thought to expect some first design pictures by Gitana Team being presented during the Salon Nautique in Paris beginning December as it was announced in spring 2015. I suppose the team is still thinking about different concepts as they kept silently till today. Seems the analysing process takes longer than expected. ;-)

    Maybe they got wondered about to see that the smaller IDEC trimaran (with only 6 crew members) made it very competitively against the gigantic Trimaran SpindDrift during their Jules Verne Trophy attempt which failed latest today just remaining 5 days to break Loick Peyron's record. The average speed of Spindrift would have to be now 32 knots to make it. Impossible...

    So lets see what Gitana will pull out of the design pocket very soon... :)
