Tapered chine width

    you have that right, the entry is very important, the deadrise of the red boat is too constant, , the deadrise I have found needs to be steep at the bow, and end up about 20-22 stern, the boat then gan be driven hard from crest to crest, where as on the first of those photos of mine, the bow was kinda spoon shaped and we had to slow considerably, in the rough no matter how much you slow, a bow with flatter sections will pound so bad that you have to come off of plane,
    When I changed to fine sections, nothing would stop the boat, I had a 20 footer that could outrun anything, and I do mean anything. Will try find the lines

    That is an interesting hull Ranchi. I am sure it is very stable both at rest and at speed. How does it behave in a chop, are those sponsors making it harder riding? How did it behave when truning, I expect very little heel? Do you have any sea-trial video to share with the rest of us so we can see the boat in action.

    Need help on Manta
