Symmetric Laminate with Double Bias Plys

This may seem like a stupid question but I'm looking at making a laminate that incorporates +45 and -45 degree plys.

Since my part is significantly longer than the width of available fabric rolls, I will need to lay down the fabric parallel to the longitudinal axis of the part. However, I have only been able to find double bias fabric with the +45/-45 stacking sequence and not the -45/+45 stack. Therefore, even when flipping the fabric end over end, or rotating it 180 degrees, I am not able to achieve a symmetric laminate.

How have others gotten around this problem? Should I just do a better job looking for fabrics?

What is the symmetry that you want to achieve? I don't quite understand the problem. If the design requires the lay of the fibers to be absolutely different, you can always buy uni-directional cloth.

If you want symmetry, that is the fibers on the outside of the laminate are parallel, uni-directional cloth can be oriented in any way. It takes more labor, but you will have complete control on fiber orientation.
