Good day, we looking for someone to perhaps help us find a usable coding system for a new high-speed craft we are designing.

We want a coding system to categorise the systems, propulsion units, electrical, safety, etc into a logical hierarchal form with a numbering system to identify each component. We have access to the SFI Group System data but this is a rather difficult and, i think, illogical way of classifying the systems.

Does anyone have a better system that they use? Where can we find it?

    Thanks!
