Not for writing once again false statements, they become true.
In December 2021, you contacted me proposing to prepare a course for Navalapp on Scantling based on ISO 12215. In January 2022, you joined two other Navalapp instructors to develop that course.
You worked weekly in this Navalapp course from January 2022 to September 2022 as a team member with the other two instructors and me. The course was launched at Navalapp in June 2022. We closed the course for new students in September 2022, and we discontinued it in March 2023. In August 2023, we launched a completely new course:
Structural Design & Scantling with ISO 12215.
During the nine months, you worked as a team member together with the other two instructors and me, we met weekly (we had a weekly meeting every Friday at 9 am) to prepare and define the course, its structure, and its content, answer the student questions, distribute tasks, and define and review the materials created, including course materials, drawings, images, etc.
For that course, one of the other two instructors designed the whole boat. A boat, by the way, you have used in your posts and publications, without our permission, to promote your activities.
Also, during that time, the other two instructors worked on improving and developing scantling calculations that were not available in your software. I am thinking of the calculations related to the keel, where, based on your own words, "you hit a wall" and didn't know how to approach the subject. To my knowledge, you have never honored or credited that work from which you are freely benefiting.
Once the course was launched, we started to have issues with your software, and at the same time, your professionalism and behavior changed drastically. At one moment, you asked me to push the other two instructors out of the course because you wanted to be the only one on board, but I didn't accept. Then you decided to quit, which I accept. The other two instructors and I then decided to close the course, which we did in September 2022 (only two months after launching it), and start the preparation of a new one.
When you left, you took the 180 pages of documentation (pdf) we created for the course to try to make a benefit out of it (and you still try). At the same time, you started to try to discredit Navalapp and the other two instructors on different social media. You even used our own publications and posts to try to discredit us and, at the same time, promote your business activities. Regarding the materials you took, we emailed you to remind you that you cannot use the same material we created for the original Navalapp course. You had to create your own original work.
@TANSL , I understand things didn't turn out the way you wanted. I know how frustrating that might be. However, the gravity and aggressiveness of your comments, the already very, very long period during which you are targeting us, the randomness in the argumentation, and the willingness to discredit our work and that of the other instructors show that you may still be sitting in some personal pain that, for some reason, you cannot get out of it. And I feel very sorry for that.
From my side, I wish you well, healing from the situation you might be in, that you can move on, and success in all your endeavors. I really mean it.
