What's wrong with the Bermudian cat and it's board location?

The 280 is pretty small for a centerboard, which eats up valuable real estate inside such a small boat. You'll be better off with the daggerboard. As to the lug, what type are you interested in? As to location of the lug, well you'd place it's CE pretty much in the small location as that of the Bermudian cat. Depending on the lug type you want, the mast may need to move a little, but not more than several inches.
