correcting warped plywood

    i have some sapele plywood that has a warp in it , its not too bad however i would like to straighten it out. ive heard of steam bending and hot wet rags applied to wood techniques, however, can someone shed some light on this problem in key steps please, ie a how to.:?:

    How thick?
    How was it stored?
    Do you want it straight/flat when you're done?

    You'll have a difficult time flattening plywood once it's warped. You can force it to a different shape with one of several techniques, but warped ply made flat for cabinet sides (for example) will be very difficult. What would you like to do with this plywood?
