Im sick of all the regulations on land building codes and such that restrict what one can build on their own property and would like to design a floating platform to live on.

Is it possible to live at anchor in the puget sound anywhere?

if yes, how, if no, why?

    Thank you...

I've seen shows on extreme houseboats on Travel channel that make it seem like you can but I've also come across rumors that some towns may not be so welcoming. I believe you can even watch some episodes of the Internet.
