    not to mention that you can often buy a large steel vessel for a dime on the dollar when you compare what a build today costs vs. buying one.

    Here is a Colvin schooner for sale, but she might be bigger (30 metres on deck) than what you are looking for - she was built on the beach here in Barbados over a course of 15 years, and finally launched 10 years ago.

    They are asking US$750k, and I am sure would accept much less - she apparently cost about US$ 2 million to build......
