I have a twin lever control on my boat, the engines are Evinrude and Johnson.(used seperately)
I have recently purchased a 1999 25hp Johnson with a single lever control box.
Will the older twin lever cables match up with the single lever control box?
The original cables are a bit worse for wear,so I intend to get new ones.
To save me having to fit the single lever control box instead of the twin lever it would be handy if they were compatable.
When I have the time I intend to change the controls over to the single lever box.
There is no wiring involved on either of the boxes.,just
the throttle and gear functions. The 25hp is a rope start.
