Sprayable fairing putty?

Anyone know of a spray up fairing/tooling putty and gun they like? Looking to spray 250 mils, and I have to believe such a thing exists, but I've never seen it.

I don't think I've ever seen a sprayable fairing putty. Most fairing compounds are troweled on. I do use a sprayable fairing primer. This is a filled primer that can be sprayed wet on wet up to 160 mils. without sag on a vertical surface. If higher build is needed the 1st applacation must first reach gel stage before reapplication. The primer is VE, Duratec 1799-051 blue. I purchase it by the 5 gallon pail from composite One up here on the northeast coast. I find a cheap HVLP gravity gun is best to apply in small amounts. (less than a 1/2 gallon) and I use a Sears because it has interchangeable tips with the bigger #3 tip working very well with the thick primer Its only 69 bucks. I also use a 2 and a 1/2 quart siphon feed HVLP for larger areas. The pimer is very user freindly and is catilyzed wit standard MEKP. I believe 20cc per qt. I'll post a couple of photos of a project I did this week This is a mast step being cut inon a 40' cat. I did miss a step on taking the photos. between the hand lay up and primer I used a small amount of poly-fair putty to fair the glass edge. Quick sand and spray.

I don't know of a product per se.

In the past I have taken regular body filler (bondo) and thined it down with polyester resin. Afterall bondo is basically just resin and talc. Then I put it in a GS spray cup, added MEKP, and sprayed it that way. Make sure to thin it enough to flow out of the gun properly. I used the largest tip that GS manufacturing has for that gun. But it works like a charm and it's a cheap way to go.

Regular body filler comes with it's own tube of colored hardner. I add that in also, it's won't create a problem it just colors and kicks it. Resin added to the filler will slow down the cure, but not by much so just do a little at a time cause it will kick pretty quick. Then clean your equipment quickly with ascetone. If you can't get it thin enough add a little styrene to the mixture and it will flow like water. The talc in the filler is what adds the volume (build) so don't add too much styrene.

And always protect yourself when spraying anything.
