SeaDog Deck Plates

    They appear to be some sort of plastic, UV degredation will get to them eventually. Many boats use "Beckson Ports" which are similiar, but they are normally found in places not exposed to the sun. For the price you could plan on replacing every couple years. Also if the hull flexes a lot in the area you plan to place them not sure the twist & Lock will stay closed. Most Beckson ports are screw on.
