    Hi,

Long time reader but first time posting here.

I'm working on a new to me 49ft catamaran. See video posted below. It needs a lot of work to the interior so I'm planning on building foam cored panels out of 1/2inch pvc or pet foam with fiberglass skins. Probably 17oz on parts that need to be strong and 12oz on lightly loaded parts.

I'm having a hard time finding a good soure to buy the foam core. Any recomendations, either locally or able to ship to San Diego?

Anyone has experience with these guys? PVC Structural Foam - Sheets - Carbon-Core Corporation https://www.carbon-core.com/product/pvc-structural-foam-sheets/

Other options seem to be Closed Cell PVC Foam Core Material; 3mm (012"), 5mm (0.20"), 10mm (0.39"), 25mm (0.98") - Easy Composites US https://www.easycomposites.us/easycell75-closed-cell-pvc-foam but it has to come from the UK

Or Divinycell H80 but it is more than double the price of carbon-core https://fiberglasssupply.com/sheet-1-2-h-80-divinycell-plain-sheet-48-x-96/

Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Glass and resins I was looking at Fiberglass & Epoxy Materials | Product List | US Composites https://www.uscomposites.com/products.html they seem to have very good pricing and everything I need in that department.

    Thanks in advance!

Rev chem is all over california, Ive used them since 2019 for about 80% my total projects. They are more industrial than consumer so the shopping experience isnt as streamlined in my experience, but I've been happy over half a decade and lots of money spent.

No problem, glad they hooked you up. Ive bought from the 3 west coast outfits and they are the ones that still get the brunt of my business. Gonna start giving a friendly hassle to my tech sales guy about a referral bonus. Although their prices are fair enough, I keep dreaming up projects.
