SG correction

    Quick question for someone with their brain in gear.
    I am adjusting hydrostatics for an SG lower than 1025. Displacement is obviously adjusted; LCB & LCF obviously not - as they are geometric properties of the immersed hull; what about MCT?
    Apologies if the answer is out there somewhere, searching SG etc found nothing.

    Well, what factors effects the MCT??

    The displacement and the GM(L).
    Thus are either of these effected by a change in density...and you have your answer :)

    We need to be careful here in how we term things. If we hold the volume displacement constant, then LCF, LCB, and MCT do not change but the weight displacement does. If hold the weight displacement constant (the more usual case) then the body will sink/trim and the volume, LCF, LCB and MCT will follow the new draft on the curves of form.
