I also feel there is a big difference between the investor who buys property and the investor who's interest lies in trading the derivative.
The former is 'making the market' while the later trades it...
Moral hazard varies between the two I think.
There most certainly is but we can stand much closer to the line than that. There is a difference between a man that invests in stocks of a bank and a man that put his money in an account of the same bank. The fly boys at the bank dont see this, they seem to act like it is the same. It most certainly is not.
This needs fixing and it needs it now, it could be done by regulation from governments which again as what the --demonstations are about.
Any country doing this will have money flowing in taking advantage of its security and its currency --not good for foriegn exchange so round and round we go.
