It's a bit impolite to ignore sound advice.

    There used to be a supplier of "home brew" near Penang circa 1965, and he called the stuff 'rice brandy' - it was as smooth as you could imagine, but he is probably will and truly pickled by now...

    Please explain "without them there would be no Scotch (reuse of barrels by code)." Thanks

    The distillment is aged in bourbon barrels and becomes Scotch..

    I knew they did that (Bourbon barrels are actually exported to make Scotch) but I didn't know of any code that Scotch has to be aged in Bourbon barrels.
    LONDON (AFP) - The last remaining bottle of the world's oldest (Glinfiddich Rare Collection, 1937) single malt whisky left its distillery in Scotland bound for Hong Kong, where it will be the star attraction at an airport shop.
    Previous bottles sold direct by the family-owned Glenfiddich Distillery fetched 10,000 pounds (14,500 euros, 19,000 dollars) each, but the price levied by the airport is expected to be higher still.
    Just 61 bottles, described as having "chocolate and treacle" flavours, were produced from the single cask and first released in 2001. I'll bet that one'll kick you right in the treacles but no more than;

    Which will get you drunk, drunker
    They have refined tastes in China
    Which explains the old Scotch being sold in an airport - the pic came from engrish.com

    ya know I seldom mix the two that way
    typically if Im camping I bring rum
    beer is just to bulky
    and my old girlfriend was a rum fan so I got savvy with who made what and if I liked it
    generally its good stuff if you wanna get plastered and still function in the morning

    With a reasonably fit constitution, that applies with almost all "rot-gut" - I never had a problem going to work after a heavy night of booze... Now in maturity (old-age) I tend not to push the booze limit, and more appreciate the sober pleasures of life, as often as possible:D:D:D...
