    Okay...This is a thread for people to post pics of Naval, Coast Guard and Merchant marine vessels....could be a plain-jane fleet oiler like below...or the USS Enterprise...as long as it is interesting to you... then it likely will be to someone in the forum...just hope we can get some good pics of Naval/Coast Guard/Merchant Marine ships from the past...

    photo below is of USS Monongahela, a fleet oiler which my dad served as a junior officer on in WWII Pacific...
