Anyone know cheap mppt controller for BP Solar panels running at 48 volts. Don't want to spend over $600 on Outback flexmate 80 MPPT charger controller but seems like best one.

A storm blew my perfectly good Siemens panel from its fixtures on the radar stand. When I pulled it out of the water by its cable, it seemed to have hit the sea rail: the tempered glass was shattered in a million pieces that were still clinging to the solar cells because the whole array is vacuum impregnated with a clear, silicone-like resin.

Removal of the glass isn't difficult but downright impossible.
