I had power balance problems until I resized my battery bank and went with higher-efficiency panels. Also found better hardware through https://www.raylyst.eu — solar controllers and connectors that didn’t lose so much energy. Mounting angle made a bigger difference than I thought too. I ended up with way less shade loss once I adjusted my panel tilt during anchoring.
