So this is where all those referals to my site come from!

    Greetings
In looking over my statisitics program I noticed substancial numbers of refferals to my site from this one. So... I had to take a look and I am impressed!

I am an editor/publisher of a print and 'E' paper for boaties (all free by the way) and have recently sold our 40 foot steel cruiser and am in the midst of looking at plans for a 12 metre cat to build..... so I must be in the right place.

Though I have done considerable research on the subject of design and material application, I am certain in this large group to find additional and valuable information.

    So thats my introduction...

    Cheers

In my case look at the avatar! see anything familiar? try the mustache! The 'safe' bit comes from the job! Yes you guessed it one of those nasty men who stops people from working for 'Health and Safety reasons' and on a building site too! (it was first given as a p*** take - if you can't join beat 'em........... sack 'em......OOoooh! I'm so n-a-zzzz-ty)

    well you did ask!

    hey safewalrus...

OK, the mustache should have been a clue. Long ago when I lived in the US I picked up the nickname "UncleBob" it happened cause a crowd of people heard this pretty chick refer to me as "UncleBob" and everybody just imitated her figuring that was my name...... well no.. it was because I was her uncle! But the name stuck for many years!

    Cheers

    Hello Interesting mag. thanks.
You seem to have had a poor experience with a surveyor and your steel boat.

    Cheers

    Greetings mike

AHHHhhh... something like that. But I learned a lot.. about survyors and boat building! Not to say there aren't good honest surveyors but just pulling one out of the phone book is like playing russian roulet with 5 bullets in the chamber. I now have a good metal fabrication shop out back, including leftover plates of steel and stainless but the boat we are about to build will be composit! I'll weld up the spreaders but everything else will be another new occupation. Life is like that.

    Cheers

Thanks Ike, I had a look at Brian Eilands site and was impressed. It's good to exchange them and gather that much more good stuff. One day soon I need to start over with my links page to make it easier to post new sites. I think I will be discovering quite a few here.

    Cheers
