I decided to convert a small 12' boat that I built into an electric boat for cruising the harbor and fishing in freshwater occasionally. My goal is to put 2 Group 27 batteries amidships with a Perko switch and to have lighting in the bow and stern. Might put a small radio in after I have had a chance to see what kind of drain I get on the dual batteries. I also decided to extend the size of the seats and to raise up the stern to the level it was before the engine cutout.
