    Hi
    My name's Rob
    I'm a boataholic
IV surfed sailed paddled most of our rivers Bays and lakes and now at seventy my back has said enough
No more lifting canoes on your head
    Think of something else

So a floating platform came to mind after seeing the Chinese fishing rafts
It has to be light enough for a back cripple to launch and load alone
So I thought a light Ali frame and light plastic water drums
Carry in pieces and assemble on the bank

Can I post a pic of my prototype which has hit a snag

Or am I in the rong forum

    Rob

    Thanks
Not a bad idea except they probably pretty pricey and I'd rather have a floating platform I can learn to scull from and do my back exercises and paddle like a sup for core strengthening

My prototype is almost there now I just have to source sheets of styrene or urathane whichever is more water repellent. Any idea
