    How Do I Test An Amplifier Assembly On A 1970 Evinrude 60 Hp?

    you need to get the manual to tell you what voltages to measure and the resistacnces of coils ...... look on e bay for rip offs of manuals on cd

    You can get the manuals online and download them, if your local library doesn't have them

    The original manuals will not have voltage ( other then 12v supply)as testing with peak voltmeters was unheard of then
    You will need a wiring diagram though as there are several reasons why you may not have spark on a battery CD model, if that is your problem.
    Even as simple as the points under the flywheel?
