I'm sad to bring the death of another great multihuller to your attention. I only knew James Jackson through boatdesign and the many e-mails we exchanged.
He always encouraged me as well as tried to straighten me out when he thought I was wrong. He saw the potential of the Fire Arrow before the boat sailed and unfortunately was blinded as a side effect of the cancer he was fighting so he never saw the video or stills of the boat.
He was involved with multihulls for years and years. When I can find more history I'll post it.

Sad news, I knew James wasn't in good health over the last few years and he wont be able to take the helm of the trimaran he was interested in. Now he has crossed the bar for the final time, fair winds Silver Raven.

Damn.....enjoyed his posting immensely. Sent me some hilarious stuff and had a PNW background that made it easy to relate. Sailing the stars now....

Wow, I'm saddened to hear this. I met JJ after he was blinded by the cancer he was fighting, I thought he had it beat but I guess not... A crazy yank who called North Queensland home, spent his younger years involved with sailing and running a fibreglass supply business up here. Fair winds JJ...
