Drag test - information

    I am working on a design of kite propulsed trimaran within the open project kitecruiser.org. I want to perform the drag test for the newly designed hull shape. Does anyone have the description how to scale up the results of the drag test to get the drag vs speed curve for the real boat????

    I remember there was a nice description when performing this test still at the university...

    You can try to find Serie 64 from DTMB it is an old workpaper, but very useful to get an idea for long slender hulls.
