    Hey Sea Drive,
Ever experience the beetle boat, It was a small, maybe 8' trainer used at the Vineyard Haven Yacht club in the 70's. Slow as an opossum. But safe!
Later on we had to race against Sea Dogs.

It's quite qute (yes, QUTE, not CUTE, but QUTE). How would that little plywood cube hold up on any remotely rough body of water...rhetorical question, don't answer...Too small is not good, but too big is even worse.

I suppose you gotta pick your water and your conditions...This guy was just funnin, wanted to build something within the confines of 4x8 sheets of ply. The site is still on the web...somewhere. Google " Crawdad " to see some other pics. Just thought I add it to the mix of "pico" boats. Here is one of my own design...6.5 ft x 42", just a tiny little tender good for up to about 270 lbs of (well balanced) cargo

That's scary...dog=80 lbs. human 160 lbs. (based on weight of average american woman, I'M SERIOUS! 160 LBS!) and cooler/gear at 20 lbs. So 260 lbs? Listing? Maybe I'm far off.
