Absolutely dead simple. I have looked at the "Mundoos" and as far as I'm concerned all they have seemed to accomplish is take Bolger's Tennessee and put an ugly top on it. JMHO. I am looking forward to Reuel Parker's book as the Ohio Sharpie at 19ft. and shallow draft has caught my eye. It has a little more beam but is a little shy on freeboard. That said, a small square low cabin about 6ft. in length would probably work fine. Same small air cooled installation as planned before.

If running sink water is required a tank on the roof will need no water pump, tho a self closing faucet might be worth finding.

A tank on the roof of a sharpie hull isn't a good idea, unless it's a 5 gallon bucket. A foot pump is a simple enough device to install.

I should be more interested to hear from you experienced members how well a design such as Parker's 19ft. Ohio sharpie would perform converted to inboard propulsion?

Read this construction journal and then search around his site for a design that might work for you.

    Here is his main site.

I believe he is a member of this site, but there is no easy way to search the members list other than to go through all the M's looking for "Mark V" or something like that.

I wish I had the time and space to build a Mark V 39'. It is a classic design.

I think what it boils down to is if I want a Tennessee, build a Tennessee. Thanks.
