    Hi Jeff,

Noticed I'm no longer registered, but a member! Is that with reaching 100 posts?
    Where's the cake?
    But anyway, thanks!

Well, I'm still working on the cake...

As you noticed, when you reach 100 posts, the forum software automatically moves you from the "registered" (standard) usergroup to the "member" (100 posts or more) usergroup. The only major advantage right now is that "members" can post photos in the gallery and have them appear instantly without waiting for them to be manually approved.

We've talked about some other ideas that might utilize the usergroup permissions this fall - for example a forum where members are asked to post links to resources / resource sites (if you solicit links where anyone can post, you tend to accumulate an increasing amount of spam very quickly, thus the reason for the restriction to members.)

Once the weather gets cooler here, I'll be spending more time working on adding new features to the site :)
