Mistaken post- sorry I read about an incident that said it occurred tonight-and it actually occurred in February. My apologies.

    F32SR from SA

I read about the brand new F32SR(first one in the world I think) belonging to a guy in Ft. Walton being struck by lightning. Since there were storms all over Florida last night and the post said "tonight" I ASSumed he meant last night. After I posted the story(from the F32SR thread on SA) my "brain" kicked in and I checked the date of the post-February. Still a sad story.

It happens so seldom that a boat gets struck by lightning that if you consider the amount of masts then it really is a rarity. Perhaps sad, but would it be ok to say the guy was actaully lucky to have been chosen, the one-in-a-million ?

I was wondering what happens to the fish below the surface when a lighting strike like that one happens... Any marine biologist around? :)
