    Hi folks!

My name is Michael and I am writing from Germany. So far so good.

I have a Mercruiser 3.0 LX engine built in 1995. Now the engine is broken, because the manifold exhaust was leaky and I've got a jamming piston. Well done...

Because in Germany the origin spare parts are very expensive I am seeking for an US dealer who ships to Germnay. Either I need a motor repair kit with new pistons and gaskets or - what I would like to prefer - a brandnew motor. This would be a GM 3.0 L marine version so called 181 CID.

Does anybody have an idea which dealer I can contact, which dealer is reputable and which one is able to ship to Germany???

BTW, does anybody know if there is an other forums where I can get also information?

I need urgently help because season will start in some weeks and I would like to repair my boat asap.

Thanx in advance for your assistance

    Regards from Germany
    Michael

I have 2 Merc 3.0LX engines, recently removed from my boat because they are replaced by diesels. Plan to offer them on Ebay soon...

I have contact to these funny guys. I wait since 6 (!) weeks for a bid for the motor.

I had to ask them if they do not want to sell engines....

What people say and what they really do is sometimes different.
