Retired - on to new adventures

    As of 30 November, I am retired from my position as a naval architect for boats and small cutters with the Coast Guard (31 years). Might do some other stuff:
    "Have GHS, will travel." (always wanted to say that)

    However, the important point of that is that there will be an opening to fill this position shortly so watch www.usajobs.gov.

    If I get the announcement, I will post it.

    Good luck; there are a lot of you that would be well qualified for this position, please consider it.

    Congratulations on your retirement!
    We hope that you will still continue to check in here to see what is happening, and to offer opinion on the many boat design issues that crop up here.
    Are you a sailor? If so, any plans for going sailing (perhaps southbound?).
    It must be getting rather chilly in MD now...... :)
