I have a 24’ (7.5m) carbon fiber hull that is 530mm tall in the middle and 530mm wide.

I want a boat designed for a 4hp outboard and hopefully go faster than 12 knots.

I am thinking of a power tri with standard amas and akas, or a tri with amas close to the hull for a stable powerboat look.
Please send pm and email address so I can send interested parties drawings and photos.
Design candidates using Rhino and Grasshopper.
    Many thanks

If you post in this thread the information that you have, the odds are good that you will get the boat designed here as a group effort.
Go on, try it, and see what happens!

    Agreed.
A stabilized monohull would be what you're looking for.
Let's have a look at that hull you have. 3-view pictures would be best.
I've designed one as a kite boat so I should be able to help you.
Check out M/V EarthRace, it's 70 tonnes but the principle is the same.
12+ knots on 4HP is completely doable.
How fast do you want to go?

You can get a surplus rowing shell and it will reach that speed with 4HP>

Keep it public so we can all see what's going on.
And answer the questions asked of you to help this move forward.
    That's how forums work, no?
