Anyone has some smart ideas how to make multihull models in Modelmaker using the existing hull GFs?

If I have this right, you have an existing GF file and you want to turn it into a model . . . right?

Model maker is designed to make GF files which you already have, so you need another tool. Rhino will read GF files and then you can do whatever you need to do to clean it up in Rhino.

You can import .iges file to Rhino and then use AttachGHSdata command in Rhino to create ghs data. Then "save as" the model in .gf format and use it in modelmaker.
