After some polite arm twisting .. yes :D
Been a tad busy on paid work..so apologies for the delay :(

So in the range of loads DC is looking at here are the level trim hydrostatics.

I have set the KG at 1.40m, very close to deck level. Reason being, to err on the side of caution to begin with but more importantly, to allow for those large deck cargo loads that will raise the KG.

So until we know more hard data, this will suffice.

Does this fit with your expectations John?

Longitudinal data is taken from the transom fwd.

In so far as I could calculate on a McDonald's napkin with a dull carpenters pencil, quite closely. Particularly draft, LCG, and tons per cm/ immersion. For the latter I kept coming with around 1000#/", which is only 3% high.

The first line, at 0.2m is boat equipped for commuter operation, 3 on board, half fuel. No cargo. Obviously, the last lineis loaded for a big job..

As for the rest of the values, I must confess, they are not as immediately obvious.

I am using polycarbonate uv clear 6mm for windshield.

Gonna use some 3m 2 sided tape to bond them and perhaps a few screws.

With KMT of around 6m, and KML around 22m, I think she will be a stable work platform. I reread old textbooks.

What was the context again? Just to determine ppi? Or was it to see what happens with 800# on the bow?

I'm interested in both, just getting an idea how badly off center I can load up.

Oh no.... and I thought you were a man of refined taste!!!:(

If you have 1 tonne of 'cargo' - as part of the nominal total load, and it is placed at the deck edge side, roughly as far outboard as you can be, with your nominal KG of roughly at/near deck level, you get this:

    upload_2021-6-29_10-23-45.png

What this means, is that with a higher KG, she will list to near 10 degrees. But, any more load, or a large beam wave, of a high gust of beam wide, you're in danger of capsizing!
Ive shown, for ref, the location of the gunwale at the transom, which you can see at 7.7 degrees becomes immersed too.

With a lower KG, as you're estimating - say, a nominal 0.8m KG, you get this:

    upload_2021-6-29_10-23-23.png

Ive kept the scale the same, for clarity.
With a lower KG, she will list to near 7 degrees. But now with any more load, or a large beam wave, of a high gust of beam wide, you have a greater margin and thus more stability.

So, clearly, you need to ensure your KG is as low as possible.

There are many highly refined ingredients in McDonald's food. .. oh. I see. That's not what you meant.

    Hahaha!

Actually I grew up damn poor and hungry. When I was a young man, with the arse out of my trousers, I literally measured success by whether or not I could take a friend to McDonald's for food, without surreptitiously counting my change
