Quit using those thirteen dollar words. Now I have to go look it up.

The line looks good, but it looks like it has a low or a high spot. It could be the camera. You may find it during final fairing. When you fair; take your fairing tools up and down the hull before you add fillers and keep them on good angles like 30-45 degrees to the bow and using a sharpie; determine the amounts of fillers; reverse curves, etc.

It really pays off the write the needs on the boat when you start running batches.

If you are already fair; my apologies; it is hard to tell.

If you float your filler this way; the thing will fix any errors unless you have a desired reverse here.

Make sure to NOT use drywall tools. They are too flimsy.

All epic struggles are reduced to a line in history anyway. But I'm pleased you are excited by it.

Not my best day ever. Waited 5 hours for the flatbed. No flatbed. Tomorrow?

I'd unlike this comment if I could. That sucks.

Yeah. And I already missed 1 truck day, because 2 hours before he was due the Marina called to tell me I also had to have insurance.

Almost no chance in hell you'll find insurance. I have a contact, but I doubt them for you. They would want to see it further along and they'll hit you for a bunch...maybe more than the marina rental. I suggest finding a nice heated space; screw that $500 insurance premium you can't find.

Insurance for building projects is far to none available. The place I know is US underwriting; not sure even Canada.

Maybe Noah's might have a lead for you.

What do they want insurance for, just to have it sitting in a yard ?

Yes. Insurance to let me give them 375 a month, to sit in their yard, in the rain.

The garage I worked in could finish it, but the owner sold their other house, and they're moving back to this one. They have a Model T, that needs indoor storage.

I looked around and didn't find any place that would allow me to use and grind epoxy. Well, a free space an hour from home, in a clearing in the forest beside a farmer's field. If it was closer, I'd take it.

I paid for 6 months at the Marina. By then it should be able to handle being outdoors in the weather. Maybe finish the mechanicals in a cheaper place.

Yeah, in Vancouver I don't think it gets much cheaper than that. I spent years working out a way to leave, partly just to have enough space to mess around with boats. Wasn't easy. But the last boat I built was a little sailing dinghy I built in the living room of an apartment. I'd rather have been building something else, but living there, the space is at such a premium it's hard and very expensive to build much of anything.
