Bit of a rare find there, DC, with the willing hand helping with the scraping !

I know, right? And there's no access to that space. I jacked the boat up with a car Jack and crawled under. I can't believe she actually joined me. What a hero.

She could be unique in the annals of backyard boat-building, such activities may be tolerated by the fairer sex, though rarely encouraged, and even less commonly participated in !

She is the best partner I've had in my life.

Here's another informative image. Top left of the pic shows structural 1" plywood between the comically overbuilt bulkhead 6 on the right, and the slightly overbuilt transom on the left. There's some temporary blocking in place, but that will come off as soon as I start tabbing. As you can see, I haven't finalized the profile of the side walls aft of the enclosed living space.

And now we wait for financing. All of the lucrative moonlighting I usually do has dried up, what with hundreds of thousands of people dying of the plague. I'm grateful as hell that that's the problem I have. Pretty damn lucky actually.

One month since the ominous sign-off pending financing...

I like flipping my laptop up-side-down and have a good look at that last photo.

Anne and I were at the boat again last night. I moved in with her, which took up a lot of time.

We were planing and sanding. Getting ready for the big next step.

And our financing is in place!

Fallguy, please remind me: where should we get glass and epoxy? 20200613_141104.jpg

I really like buying from Noah's in Toronto for glass.

I prefer Silvertip for outgassing properties. However, I don't know how the Canada bit works out. It is made in Washington state, so it would seem like a local supplier may sell, or perhaps you can buy from Boat Builder Central in Florida and get it dropped shipped. Or perhaps you can buy it from Noah's and get it drop shipped.

I'm keen to get going again. How unfair is too unfair to glass?

I would focus on the visible freeboard to just below the waterline.
    But I'm lazy.
